Over the past 15 years I've played Riverside about 4 times.. each time it rained. The pace is VERY slow, even on a day that is very light traffic, typical for public courses in the area. The price is what turned me off everything else.. as a member of two country clubs in the area that has 'priviledges' at Riverside, i was stunned to pay 45$ for 9 holes. To their credit, they didnt care if we played 9-18-36, etc.. same price. The course isnt worth that much $.

Although the greens were anything but they still offered a decent challenge, very fast. Fairways were in very nice condition considering it is winter. My forsome was behind a log jam of players which made for a longer day then usual. Very nice course in the spring. Will play it again in the future.

Awesome course, maybe a bit overpriced, but that's because of where it's located. Almost always a pleasure to play the course.

I played a golf tournament here and there was another tournament (bigger than the one I played in) that was playing the same day. The pace of play was excellent. I never once had to wait for the other tournament. The fairways on a few holes were roped off (why, i don't know). The fairways didn't seem worthy of having it roped off. The difficulty was pretty good. It was extremely hot that day and my riding partner got sick and had to leave the course. An attendant was at our hole within 2 minutes of his call to the clubhouse. The attendant took good care of him and made sure he was OK before he let him go home. That, in my book, shows courtesy and extreme aloha to their players.
